Baratz & Associates has been providing significant healthcare consulting & valuation services in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors since 1985, when partner Clifford Simmons, CPA, CVA initiated the development of our firm’s service line specializing in the healthcare industry.  The regulatory environment facing healthcare providers often compels the need for determinations of fair market value (FMV) as well as consideration of related issues such as commercial reasonableness, private inurement, tax-exemption and undue enrichment.  Our firm’s working knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements enables us to focus on services that can assist hospitals, physicians and others within the healthcare industry in adjusting to the industry’s ever-changing and growing complexities and demands.
